Greetings, just wanted to tell you how enjoyable(not to
mention safe) your gear makes riding for me. Last year, I bought a jacket
liner before departing an a 5k mile trip out through Nebraska, Wyoming,
Idaho & Washington. It was Memorial day weekend and for the first 5 days
of the trip, it rained and snowed every day. I was able to keep riding -
comfortably, I might add - thanks to that jacket liner. Since then, it goes
on any ride that isn't in the middle of the summer! It's kept me warm in a
dozen states and really extends the riding season. It also contributes from
a safety perspective -- keeping warm does a lot to maintain reaction times
and alertness levels. I've since added a pair of your electric gloves, and
mentally to the demands of riding in cold weather has been increased
dramatically. Thanks for making great gear!

Last weekend a team of 4 morotcycle riders worked the Pacific Crest Triathlon at Sunriver. The temps were VERY cold. At our safety meeting we dicussed the possiblilty of hypothermia with the atheltes. Sunday morning it was 41 degrees at race time. Swimmers out of the water and riding the 26 mile course. Mile 11 a hail storm hit the riders. Mile 13 one of our riders comes up on a woman in the fetal position suffering from severe hypothermia. He pulls all he has out of his saddle bags as well as the jacket and clothng he has on as he wrapped himself around her to try to warm her up. I rush to medical at mile 11 for help. Medical and I arrive only to find her in serious condition. Medical call for the transport only to be told they were 22 minutes out. Medical looks at me and tells me we don't have 22 minutes! It dawns on me I have my gerbing heated jacket on and ask the medical if this would help We unwrap her and get the jacket on her, I can't get my motorcycle close enough to reach her with my controller. Three other riders in our group stop to assist. Between the four of us we manage to pig tail enough room to reach her from my heated controller. Within 10 minutes she is coming around. Medical asked a lot of questions about my Gerbing heated jacket and mentioned next year they will all be equiped with this jacket! Gerbing heated jacket saved a life this weekend. Never thought I would ever rely on my jacket to do this! Thank you Gerbing.

A friend had mentioned your product after buying the jacket liner and gloves which prompted me to research videos of folks making the Alaskan highway trip on cycle in the dead of winter, I can only say I was mesmerized. I ordered the jacket liner and T-5 gloves. I have a 1/2 hour ride into work and the lowest temps so far I've experienced was 25 degrees. Doing 50 mph going in, wind chill must have been in the teens in the valleys. I had on a business casual short sleeve shirt(!) with the vest and a leather jacket with the gloves and I have to say I was so warm that it felt good to open the visor 1/2 the way in and the gear wasn't even turned all the way up! You have an awesome product and I figure with gas saved riding the extra fall/winter months will easily pay for itself in no time at all. What an awesome product. Setup was all of about 15 minutes and I was good to go. I am elated to have purchased the gear and will be looking to purchase the pants and socks for fall tou ring. Can't say enough good things about them!

Hey - I wanted to express how much I sincerely appreciate your business and the people who work for you. Your company is the best I've ever encountered. I cannot tell you how much you mean to me. Had a problem with my gloves and with the liner. There was no argument, no discussion - It was we'll get you fixed up, can you wait a few minutes? Within 30 minutes, the liner was repaired and I walked out with new gloves. You guys are the best. I will not buy another similar product from anyone but you. In this day and age, it is customer service that sets one apart from another. You have established yourselves within the biker community as the BEST in every way. Thank-you so very much.

I just wanted to pass along my thanks and take a moment to mention how impressed I was with your organization when I stopped into your factory location in Tumwater on October 13th 2011.
I was assisted by Dee, who was very friendly, extremely patient and unbelievably helpful when I indicated I was having a small problem with my Harley Davidson branded heated jacket liner.
I had a problem and I was originally concerned that my jacket liner may have out-lived it's intended lifespan and that it might have been time to consider a replacement [after 13 years or so I would have accepted that as a mere fact of life....], however Dee took my jacket liner, had the production team inspect and test it - then isolated and corrected the problem. And this all took place while I waited!
To say I am thrilled with the way you folks handles my concerns is a true understatement.
I sincerely believe you folks have added a new dimension to the phrase "Excellent Customer Service"!

I have ridden over 1,000,000 fully documented miles in all fifty states, Mexico, Canada, Holland and Australia. My Gerbing jacket liner and gloves are almost always packed, as they have kept me warm in the coldest of conditions. When it comes to customer care and support, I would rate your company as the gold standard by which all other should be judged.

My wife and I were traveling from Wisconsin to New Mexico. On the way we ran out of places to put things so I purchased a hitch platform to store the things we may need to get to quickly. We put the Gerbing liners on the platform, unfortunatly I put the gear behind the exhaust. When we arrived in New Mexico and took the gear off and the heat from the exhuast had melted my wifes liner in many places. When I plugged the liner in it works as intended. We are very impressed with the durability of your product. Thank you for all of our heated trips, and are looking forward to many more.

I live in Michigan and recently purchased a set of extreme element outerwear, Jacket and Pants and a pair of T5 gloves I've ridden in to work several days where temps were in the low 30's and was toasty warm all the way into work. All I had under my heated gear was a single layer sweatshirt and a pair of long pants. No need to bundle up and layer up like I used to have to do! I also had to put my old unheated gloves down by the exhaust pipes to keep them warm, but not now. Gerbing's heated gear is great staying warm and toasty all ride long. Thank You Gerbing's!
— anonymous, 05/09/2011
I purchased a set of heated gloves, which I find most useful here in Alaska, and have enjoyed them on my two motorcycles, not to mention when on my 4-wheeler, plowing my driveway. In the last case, they are a hand saving device. I appreciate you helping me out. The gloves are wonderful; I'm looking forward to trying out the vest I bought Saturday as well. Thanks so much.

I live in Oregon's sunny (ha, ha) Willamette Valley, and I just got a jacket liner. The weather today was a combination of pounding rain, sleet and hail. Aside from having to take cover under an overpass of I-205 until the hail melted, I've never been so toasty warm on a motorcycle in rotten weather before. Amazing gear!
— anonymous, 04/06/2011
All I can say is WOW! Just purchased an new HD Trike and went for my first ride at 31 degrees. Nest trip was to a Gerbing dealer. I purchased jacket liner, pant liner and gloves. I rode the next day for 225 miles at 32 degrees and was ready to ride another 225. I talked my wife into trying the jacket on our next ride. The temperature was 36 degrees. Needless to say, we make another trip to the dealer and purchased a jacket liner and pant liner for her. I' m really impressed with the quality and ease if installation and use. Your products have given us 4 more month of riding each year. Thanks.
Sam M, Concord, NC, 01/31/2011
I bought the Gloves, Jacket Liner, Pants and Socks about 7-8 years ago and have been happy with them ever since. I have ridden in 7 degree weather with no problem. Recently one of my classic gloves quit heating. Contacted customer service and sent them back in for repair. They sent me a brand new pair of G3's. Thank you Gerbing and you can count on my business and recommendations.
— Wes Ives Tolar, Texas, 01/27/2011
We went for a ride on January 2, 2011 with our Goldwing riding club. The temperature was 36 degrees. We rode about one hundred miles, we couldn't feel our toes or fingers. When we got home we got in the car and drove to our local store where we bought Gerbing heated gloves, jacket liners and insoles. Now we look forward to riding in the cold weather. Keeping hands and feet warm makes all the difference.

I received my T5 gloves and dual control unit for Christmas this year. I installed the wiring harness yesterday (VERY easy install), and my "test run" was a success. But this morning, the temp was subfreezing, and, well, all I can say is AWESOME. I had heat in my gloves before I even got the bike backed out of my 35' driveway. These gloves are worth their weight in GOLD. If you are considering a pair of these gloves, quit considering and get them before your hands freeze!
— Doug G, Sierra Vista, AZ, 12/28/2010
I ordered my first G3 heated glove this fall. I hooked it up to my Yamaha Zuma 50 scooter and they work great. I ride 36 miles round trip from Canton to Allen Park for work each day. The coldest I've ridden in was 20°F and my fingers and hand are comfortably warm! Great product!
— Le Phan, Canton, MI, 12/28/2010
I ordered heated gloves for my good friend who always rides his bike to work. He's in the military, so he gets up very early, rides in the dark in 17 degree weather, and is always freezing. He LOVES these gloves. He tells me that they don't even need to be plugged in to keep his hands much warmer than any others he's had. He wears them every day. Thanks for helping me give such a useful gift.
— Randi M, 12/21/2010
Holy Crap!! These new jackets put out far more heat than the older 10 yo jackets. I need temp control with these.
— anonymous, 12/16/2010
After visiting your factory in WA in 2007 I purchased coat liner, pants and gloves. They made it with me for a total of 4600 miles on trip from Seattle up to Yukon and Prudoe Bay and home on the Valdez ferry. Including an Atigun Pass morning in Mid-August 25°F and fog and light snow. Gerbing's pulled through like a champ. Warm as toast, very light to pack on our non-vehicle support trip. Thanks folks!

Ok so here is the deal, I did A LOT of research to find the best heated gear that I could. My unit used battery operated Gerbing's during a few missions and I knew the name and the products worked well. So I gave them a call. From start to finish I have been more than pleased! I am a weird fit (long long arms, small around the torso and long torso to boot), the lady on the phone asked my sizes. She told me what I would need and the second I hung up the phone I was giddy. 12 days later I received my custom cut jacket liner in a nice box from UPS, right on time. I am in VA and I ride a 2005 YZF-R6, no mods to the battery or electrical, I broke into the box and 20 minutes later the bike was wired up and ready to go. I rode to my girlfriend's house 34 minutes away and the temp was 42°. Had to turn my Gerbing's jacket liner down from half way! I was toasty! Now get this, I just rode home, it's 2 AM and 12-16mph head winds. Temp is now 34°! Had on an outer shell, my Gerbings heated jacket liner and a thin hoodie.... cold right? HAAAA!!! not a chance! Turned up the temp to full and from my ears to my waist was toasty warm... now just to save up for some pants! LOL I love you guys!!! Thanks for making such an amazing product! PS- if you have the old stuff good on you: this new Microwire they have now is amazing!! Heats up in less time and doesnt weigh you down at all!

Where were these gloves all my life? I frostbit my hands when I was a child and since then I could not enjoy winter outdoor functions — ice fishing, rabbit hunting and deer hunting to name a few. Every year I bought a case of hand warmers just so I could endure being outdoors for a couple of hours. I just purchased the Gerbing Camo hunting gloves for this deer season and wore them today — what a great experience. My hands were warm all the while I sat in my treestand. I could even use my trigger finger without pulling off my gloves. I am impressed!!!! I will tell all my friends about your products for I am positive that they haven't heard of your products either. I read your ad in American Hunter and that is why I sent for them immediately and am I every glad I did. Thanks again for a great product. I AM SOLD!!!
— ED, Little Valley, New York, 12/2/2010
I just wanted to let you know how well the heated pants & jacket liner were. They don't just heat well, they also provide added safety. I was riding with some friends and we were going through a yield to get on to an access road. I was only going about 10 or 15 mph. My back tire hit a piece of hard plastic on the road and went out from under me. The bike & I went sliding down the road. When we came to rest, I got up and realized I didn't feel a thing! My pants and outer jacket were a little dusty, but that's all. I couldn't even find a hole in either one. Thanks to my heated pants & jacket, I didn't even have a scratch. I just had to let you know how thankful I am that I had Gerbings on!!!

Riding in North Carolina's foothills is great. With a ride approaching, and knowing the temps were going to be cold, I started a search for some winter riding gear. I found you guys online, checked for local dealers, asked around with fellow riders, and I soon decided on your gloves and insoles. They are great. Before the actual ride, and after taking about 15 minutes to connect the power suppy to my H-D battery, I went on a test drive (well sort of) to see how well the gloves and insole worked. They both work great. The morning of the ride, tempertures around 30 degrees, we headed out for an hour and a half just to get to our starting point. I noticed several of the riders were "wired"/prepared for the cold temps. You could tell the ones who were not, they would be the first to run inside and grab up something hot. After over 300 miles and eight hours off riding in temps as low as 30 degress and speeds of 70 mph, my hands and feet got cold only one time. DUUHH, I forgot to plug them in after a fuel stop. Your products work great. Thanks and Ride Safe, (and warm)
— Tommy, 11/11/2010
Pictures from a trip last year, using 15 year old Gerbing vest and pants:
I was toasty. The limiting factor is traction.
— Keith, 10/28/2010
I have logged over 40,000 miles wearing my Gerbing's jacket liner and gloves. "I love them!" doesn't even cover how I feel. I have extended my riding season by several months each year and that's a great thing. There is nothing better than a cold crisp morning ride with my Gerbing's, it's like being in a jacuzzi tub, my face is cool but the rest of me is toasty warm. I wear at least my jacket liner until temps go above 55 degrees which is most of the year where I live. Best of all when there was a problem with my jacket liner the fine folks at Gerbing were happy to exchange my old jacket liner for a new one. Thanks for such a great product.
— Boris, 07/23/2010
You guys are fantastic! It's been more than 7 years since I bought my liner and gloves and, when one sleeve stopped heating, you accepted the return of the whole ball of wax, no questions asked! Today I received a NEW liner, and both of my gloves had brand new connectors. AND in the box was a new battery connection! Non riders think I'm "nuts" for riding all winter. Little do they know I'm warmer than they are, thanks to you guys!
— Dave Kent, 06/14/2010
All I can say is that if anyone wants to extend their riding season into the cold weather months, or travel to locations where the temperature drops; you must have Gerbing products in your toolkit. I have the G3 Gloves, Vest and Pant liners and am very pleased. They heat up quick and keep you toasty warm regardless of the temperature.

I recently took a spill while wearing my Union pants. The pants are shredded, but I am not. Thanks for making such a wonderful product that saved me from further damage. Look for a replacement order soon.
— Toby Burgess, Lake Dallas, TX
I purchased the jacket liner and special ordered the Union Ridge outer pants to fit. I have ridden with temps into the middle 20s, and was quite comfortable! I am amazed how well they work. I did a lot of internet surfing for several different brands before I decided on Gerbing. And that surfing paid off! Thanks for an EXCELLENT PRODUCT!
— Fathogg, Texas
Greetings all at Gerbing's! All I can say is, "Holy cats kiddos" (my father's favorite saying) having just used your heated liners for the first time. I have ridden on/off road for the past 40 or so years. I have ENDURED on road trips that would cause the weary to shut the engine off and seek warmth immediately. Not me, I was tough... or perhaps numb. Your product is not only remarkable from a functionality standpoint, it is NICELY put together. I have a renewed source of enjoyment in my riding here in Northern New England. Many thanks and a job WELL DONE to all at Gerbing's who rock on every day!

I had to deliver a document from Edmonton to Red Deer and since the roads were dry and clear, and no snow, I decided to really test this gear. My ride was on November 29, 2008, and about 150 mile return trip at -13°F. I was wearing a Gerbing jacket liner, Gerbing gloves and Gerbing pant liners (over jeans and under chaps) and a modular full face helmet on my HD Ultra. I was quite comfortable, except for my toes which got cold. At the turn around point, I stopped at red Deer Harley and bought some Gerbing heated socks which plug into the pants. That fixed the toes. All in all, I was amazed. I regularly ride when the roads are clear of snow and ice - often March to November or even December. This gear is faboulous and extends my riding season with at least 4 months. Most of my buddies think I am nuts, and I might be, but I am a warm nut.
— M. Hughes, Calmar, Alberta, Canada
I had purchased my first Harley a '95 FLSTN Softail Nostalgia and my riding buddy took me to the Gerbing booth at the International Bike Show and said, "This is what yo need first". It was a Gerbing's heated vest. It was so nice I had my jacket liner Gerbingised so it was always with me and that was 10+ years ago. Gerbing's is the best...
— J. Hines
I purchased a Gerbing's blind heat this fall in anticipation of the cold. I was able to use it a few times and it worked awesome! This is a great product and I recommend it to anyone that needs a warm seat for any reason.

I have owned my Gerbing's for 1 year, I ride daily to and from work a distance of 35 miles each trip. My Gerbing Jacket, gloves and pants have been my choice during the cold North east USA mornings. My dual controller keeps the heat constant with almost intantaneous responses to a turn of either dial. I have taken my liner out of my allweather riding jacket and now just wear a long sleeve vest, my Gerbing heated liner and my riding jacket over the top, plug in the gloves and pants, I am ready for the 5 AM weather. Riding on a frosty morning and totally warm is amazing. The best thing is 'NO BULK'. "Fantastic" is the only superlative I can use. When recently I had a problem with heat on my gloves, I called Gerbing they told me just to send the whole lot in for servicing. Work done, gear tested and returned to me in just over a week! This is the best gear you can buy, and Gerbings have the model of "Awesome customer service". I am personally delighted with my Gerbing's and I heartily recommend to all you year round riders.
— Steve Martin, Connecticut
I have a jacket liner with over a 100 thousand miles on it. Has kept me warm many times, but now the ends need to be replaced and updated. My wife had a liner that went bad, no problem Gerbing's gave her a new liner. As always Gerbing will be there to serve us.
— Albert and Shirley, Oregon
I've been using a Gerbing heated liner for almost 3 years and 30,000 miles now, and love it! I'm surprised how often I have it on, even when down in California, Arizona and even the Mexican Baja! It has really increased my riding enjoyment and I won't leave it at home on any serious ride, no matter how light I pack.
— Mike B., Toronto
I moved from Hawaii to Ann Arbor, Michigan and quickly knew that I needed a heated riding suite. I purchased Gerbing's liners (pants, jacket) and gloves. I was able to ride in the winter for a long time toasted, more then I could do when I was riding in the winter in Korea. During Columbus Day weekend, I rode my Harley to Memphis, Tennessee and it rained all the way. I wore my gloves and my hands stayed warm the entire trip; I wore the jacket and pants liner and stayed warm. Having the thermostat really helped to regulate the heat. One item which I did not have was the socks and my feet got cold returning back. My plans are to purchase the insole for my feet. I am a true witness that Gerbing's is a must even when riding in the freezing rain.
— anonymous
I wanted to let you know that I am in receipt of the liner and gloves. The note said the the plugs on both the liner and gloves were replaced. Many companies say they have good service but your company has proven that to me. I sent the items and had them back in a couple weeks. Actually it seemed as only a few days. Thank you for all the help from all there at the company. I will continue to give the Gerbing name when people ask about heated clothing. May the best be with you and yours.
— Mike
I received my Microwire jacket liner just a few days before departing on my motorcycle trip to Tennessee and North Carolina (to escape the heat). Admittedly I am a "wimp"; when the temperature dips into the 60s I start to get tense. My Gerbing's jacket liner allowed me to focus my attention on my ride, not my chills, making the trip all the more enjoyable... thanks for a great product!
— Francine G. DeLand, Florida
“My wife bought me the 12 V liners for Christmas. Rode into work this morning (26°F), hands stayed warm for the first time in years. I wore an uninsulated pair of thin leather gloves over the top. Great Product!”
— anonymous
“Gerbing's kept me warm and dry as I rode for a charity event in which it snowed. Here is a picture on my '92 fatboy with the snow falling and me still warm thanks to Gerbing's”

“I purchased the G3 gloves and jacket liner. I ride a 2005 Suzuki SV1000s crotch rocket. The jacket is amazing how it keeps you warm, and the gloves are the best purchase I’ve ever made. My fingers turn white b/c of bad circulation, and I have not had white fingers in about 15 hours of below freezing riding!!! Thanks Gerbing!!”
— anonymous
“A big "thank you" to Gerbings! I researched the purchase of my heated gear for two seasons as I saved up the money. While I considered every product on the market I made my purchase decision based upon the fact Gerbing was one of the oldest companies in the industry and had an excellent reputation for customer service. Shortly after my purchase I had an opportunity to find out your reputation was well deserved. I suspected my local dealer mistakenly sold me the wrong accessory connector so I contacted Gerbing to confirm my suspicions. I received a prompt reply not only stating that I, indeed, was sold the wrong connector but offering to send me the right one free of charge. Wow! The connector arrived two days later and I had an opportunity to test it out last weekend. Works like a charm! I'm happy to know I made the right purchase decision. Gerbing has earned a customer for life.”
— T. J. Bowers Canton, Georgia
“Your heated gear has allowed me to ride year-round in Chicago saving me money on gas, parking, and car insurance. I commute to work every day and your jacket and Classic gloves keep me toasty warm. This winter I rode down to -15F. For the ride home I was ready to go because my Gerbing's gear was ready to go. Unfortunately, my bike was not ready to go - it was too cold to get my bike started, the first time ever. Gerbing's means I'm always ready to go even if my bike isn't!”
— anonymous
“I received my heated jacket liner in January of this year. I wanted to thank you for making my motorcycle riding comfortable and toasty warm. I've ridden in temperatures in the teens and have been quite warm. The only drawback is my wife has been a little cranky, because I'm riding so much. I know yoiu can't fix this little problem. Thanks again for fine products.”
— Tim Kucharski, Newark, Delaware
“Great Support Guys!!! I was having some problems with my heated liner and my G3 gloves. I followed the warranty procedures, and both issues have been corrected. One of the measures of a great company is not only the products they make, but how they service their customers. Thanks again for the repairs.”
— Tom Evans
“I have had my jacket liner and gloves from Harley Davidson for 7 years now and am a everyday rider. The connections were starting to fray and I thought I was going to have to buy all new gear. The Harley Davidson Motor Clothes lady said call Gerbing because the electric parts are covered for “life”. I thought no way so I called and you told me to send my gear in. 2 weeks later my stuff is back with updated connectors and controllers my gear looks like new. I am 100 percent satisfied. Those 2 weeks without my Gerbing heated gear were pure hell. I don't know how I use to ride without them before. I have both my bikes wired for my gear and use them all year round. I tell everyone I meet that if you are a serious rider get Gerbings.”
— Thanks, Brian A.
“Last May I rode my motorcycle to the four corners of the USA. During this tour, my wife met me in Seattle and we rode up to Jasper, Alberta and rode down the Icefield Parkway to Banff. The temperature never got above 40F, and was usually in the 30's with snow. Normally my wife would have been miserable on such a trip, as she is usually cold when the temperature drops below 80F. However, I had purchased two Gerbing's heated jacket liners before the trip, which kept us both toasty warm - even riding in 30 degree weather with snow. Needless to say, your products made my wife happy, which in turn made me happy - as in her eyes I am personally responsible for any bad weather on motorcycle trips! My wife flew home from Calgary, and I continued across Canada to Maine, pretty much with snow flurries and cold temperatures the whole way, but I was undaunted with my Gerbing's jacket liner.”
